YouTube Music has begun to roll out 2022 Recap on its app, allowing music fans to relive their favorite musical moments from January to the present.

Last year, the music platform introduced this feature to take customers on a trip through their “year in sound,” which would include fun, shareable facts and a personalized playlist to help them revisit all of their favorite music from the previous year.

The platform claims that it would first make the YouTube Music Recap experience more immersive by introducing it to the main YouTube app, allowing even more users to engage with their personalized playlists, metrics, and sharing stories.

Second, the 2022 Recap page will have a new Top Trends stat indicating which artists you discovered before others. There’s also a new Identity function, which will offer you a personalized music personality based on your listening habits.

Furthermore, the Recaps highlight the content that is exclusive to YouTube, such as remixes and live performances, that you enjoyed the most this year. You can peruse shareable cards that contain your favorite tunes from each season, as well as customize them with images from Google Photos.
